

SummerStage, the Hastings College Department of Theatre summer stock company, will sponsor its first production, “Little Shop of Horrors." Performances are scheduled for June 13-15 at 8 p.m. and June 15-16 at 2 p.m. in the college’s Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.) Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for seniors and students.

On Saturday, May 18 in Lynn Farrell Arena, 224 undergraduates and 18 Master of Arts in Teachng students earned degrees from Hastings College.

Jeremy Hansen's life took an interesting turn when, during the second semester of his junior year, he took a glassblowing class with Tom Kreager and fell in love with the medium.
The Hastings, Neb., native who will graduate this spring with studio art and sociology degrees said: "What I enjoy most about glass as a medium is the teamwork involved in making glass and how you can form and shape glass to be any form you want. Glass leaves room for a lot of experimentation which is something I'm attracted to."
